Mesalt® is intended for the management of heavily discharging and discharging infected wounds in the inflammatory phase and deep cavity wounds such as pressure sores and surgical wounds.
- It absorbs exudates, bacteria and necrotic material and stimulates the wound’s natural cleansing mechanism.
- It creates a hypertonic wound environment which is unfavourable to micro-organisms and supports bacterial balance.
- It is absorbent non-woven viscose/polyester wound pad and impregnated with crystalline sodium chloride.
- Sterile.
