Mesalt® Dressing, Sodium Chloride Impregnated
Mesalt® is intended for the management of moderate to heavily exuding non-infected/infected wounds such as pressure injuries, foot ulcers and deep wound management e.g. cavity wounds and fistulas.
- It absorbs exudates, bacteria and necrotic material and stimulates the wound’s natural cleansing mechanism.
- It creates a hypertonic wound environment which is unfavourable to micro-organisms and supports bacterial balance.
- It is absorbent non-woven viscose/polyester wound pad and impregnated with crystalline sodium chloride.
- Sterile.
