Mepilex® is an absorbent foam dressing with Safetac® soft silicone
- A highly conformable dressing that absorbs exudate, maintains a moist wound environment and minimizes the risk of maceration.
- It can be cut to fit making it ideal for difficult to dress areas.
- Outer polyurethane film is breathable and waterproof.
- Maintains a moist wound environment.
- Safetac® layer: Adheres gently to intact skin and minimizes the risk of maceration.
- Intended for a wide range of exuding wounds such as leg and foot ulcers, pressure injuries and traumatic wounds, e.g.skin tears and secondary healing wounds.
- Can be used as a protection of compromised and/or fragile skin and may also be used as part of a prophylactic therapy to help prevent skin damage, e.g. pressure injuries.
- Sterile.
