Melgisorb® Plus Alginate Dressing
Melgisorb® Plus is a soft, sterile Calcium Sodium Alginate dressing that absorbs exudate and quickly turns into a gel to provide a moist environment for wound healing to take place.
- Highly absorbent.
- Does not adhere to the moist wound site.
- Enhanced wet/dry tensile strength for ease of application and removal.
- It provides high integrity and high gel blocking properties.
- It minimizes the risk of maceration.
- It is indicated for a wide range of moderately to heavily exuding wounds, both infected and non-infected, such as: pressure injuries, venous and arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers, post-operative wounds, dermal lesions and other external wounds inflicted by trauma.
