Blood Cord Collection Bags, Sterile
Maco Pharma collection bags are specifically designed for the collection of human umbilical cord blood. The collection bags are sterile and suitable for vaginal births and caesarean section deliveries in operating theaters
- This collection device includes two collection lines, each with a 12-gauge needle, a main collection bag containing 21 mL of the anticoagulant Citrate Phosphate Dextrose (CPD) solution and a rinsing bag containing 8 mL of CPD
- The entire collection device is sterile within its transparent inner overwrap, which is packed in a secondary aluminium outer overwrap
- The tubes are of PVC DEHP with 3 mm internal and 4.1 mm external diameters
- The collection bag can be connected by either of the following two transfer methods: outlet port connection and sterile connection
